Well, I make this post to show you a little bit of what i´m doing . I like to carry two or three projects at the same time, because I paint a lot of hours per week, and if I don´t do this, my mind explode.

The first is a II world war diorama. I´m very excited about this proyect. A lot of weatheirng means a lot of fun.

Celtic warrior of latorre models. Love this sculptor.

This could be the most important proyect, because will be a very large scene with a lot of things.

The messenger bust - PAP Part 3 final

Well, sorry for the delay, the light in my town is not very good these days so I had to wait.

This is the work until now, more retouch on every parts...

now i´ll do the eyes, the gemstone (lapislazuli i choose), and the owl.

i do the usual steps on the gemstone, first base color followed by the lights and shadows, all blues as you can see.
After do this, i do the white marks with some grey blue very similar to white.

The gold spots are with non metalics. Later i´ll put gloss varnish on the gemstone.

I want a special feeling on the glance. Mix of melancholy, sadness and strength.
I choose blue to complement the gemstone, and to have a hard contrast on the face.

This is the owl viewed from below. i want blue tones, because the top going to have yellow tones.
I forgot to take pictures of the top, so this is the whole wip, failing of final pictures.

Hope you like it , i hope your comments and tips.

The messenger bust PAP part 2

Well after done most  of the face and the green leather, i decide to do the robe.

I choose red for this because several reasons. I want some autumn atmosphere, and this colour is very predominance on this season.

And if you are paying attention, you can see that the shadows of green are red, and the shadows of red are green. That make a whole atmospheric composition.

Here i do a bossage in the leather.  just with a light colour, and do some shadows on specific areas (witch are marked by light) with a dark colour.

The trick i use to do red, is put as base colour, the red i want for the maximun light and from there, getting darker.
This way, you´ll never have pinks or oranges in the red.

Now i´ll do some nmm in the diadem and the medallion.
i use for the base colour this ocre, and for shadows, the fantastics andrea inks. For highlights, i mixed the ocre with white.

If you wanna some more advices until now, please leave me in the comments.

The messenger bust- PAP part 1

Hi guys, today i´ll show you one of the miniatures that i´m doing right now.

This is the unpainted miniature of galapagos miniatures brand. This brand is awesome and have fantastics busts.

First of all after primed, i cover all the bust with a green color for use this as general tone, because i wanna do a ranger/druid.

I use the airbrush (after covering the rest)to do the face base. Here are base and first shadow.

Keep working on the face. Here I take a photo of the colours I use for the face, just in case you wanna know.

The face with pretty highlights and shadows.

Now i do the gabardine/raincoat in greens.

I´m doing a leather gabardine, hope i can do the right finish.

More leather work. I continue with this later.

This are the colours that i use for the base hair and beard.

I let you here a complete process and colours of how i do the beard and hair, always airburshing until now.

if you use blue in some specific shadows parts, the volume of the bear and hair ( or whatever part that you use the blue) will stand out.

Soon the nexts parts, with reds, more leather, nmm...

Hope u like it.
